# SmartLada

> A personal project by Alexander Ponomarev (https://saschapo.me): a VAZ-2106 tail light turned into a smart room lamp. Личный проект Александра Пономарева: задний фонарь ВАЗ-2106 как умный светильник.

- Four 12 V / 5 W car bulbs (turn signal, marker, reverse, brake), each on its own PWM channel with gamma, min/max level and soft start.
- Effects: Static, Breathe, Turn, Chase, Fade, Drive.
- Custom two-layer board (Rev C, KiCad, 100x59 mm) with an ESP32-C6, powered over USB-C Power Delivery (30 W charger or more).
- Zigbee: shows up in Yandex Alice as five devices (four bulbs + "Fara", which selects effects by colour). The on-device menu and Alice share one state, last command wins.
- Wi-Fi mode without a smart home: own access point and a web page with the same settings as the menu. One radio, so Zigbee or Wi-Fi, switched in the menu.
- On-device menu: OLED 128x64 and four buttons; a variant with a 2.4" TFT and a rotary encoder. Firmware updates over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
